This photo was taken last year in the fall. In the spring I noticed a young female Northern Cardinal always crying to get fed, apparently she was born without the top part of her beak or it was broken off. Through out the spring and summer I noticed that an adult female always fed her. And one day she finally quit feeding her and she had to get her own food. This photo was taken with her sitting in a tree crying to get fed and that is how I noticed the top of her beak had been gone and grew back.
