This individual leucistic Vermilion Flycatcher was charming all the birders and photographers at Sweetwater Wetlands in Tucson, Arizona. It was hanging out right at the entrance to this artificial wetlands managed by the Tucson Water Co. by a small stream. It exhibited the usual flycatcher behavior of landing for a few seconds before darting after some airborne insect, but it seemed less shy and skittish than most. It seemed to know people were mesmerized by it. I took this with Canon 40D, 300mm f/4L IS + 1.4x.
